This year, for Art, Not Apart, Alice hopes to do a series of portrait paintings expressing the passage of time on an individual. The viewer will be taken through the stages of human growth; gestation, infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood and old age. It follows the ideas of the circle of life and time and how we all transition and age from an embryo to a child and then to an adult.

Alice is currently a Year 12 student pursuing drawing and painting. She is mainly interested in portraiture and life drawing, exploring the effect of using colour to convey emotion and life.
